You have access to several resources that will help you with your research topic.

  • From the GALILEO Research Databases page in your ENGL1101 LibGuide, select "Opposing Viewpoints."
  • Select the "Issues" link from the Opposing Viewpoints home page.
  • Browse the alphabetical list - "Alcoholism" is a topic on the list.
  • Select the "view more" at the end of the topic overview area beside the photograph to read some background information.
  • Next browse the "Viewpoints" documents and read viewpoint articles that will help you build your argument. When viewing the list of "all viewpoints" look to the left of the screen - there is a list of more subjects that will help you focus your research.
  • You also have access to newspaper, magazine, and academic journal articles on this topic within the Opposing Viewpoints database.

You will also have success researching in Gale Virtual Reference Library and Credo Reference.
