Q. Why does Lockdown browser or Chrome not work on my Mac computer to access Gwinnett Technical College accounts?

You will need to install a certificate to your computer in order to correct this error.  If you are not comfortable installing certificates or other items on your computer, please consult an IT professional.

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

1. Download and run the Go Daddy Secure Server Certificate (Intermediate Certificate from GoDaddy Repository site or click https://certs.godaddy.com/repository/gdig2.crt (IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU MARK "ALWAYS ALLOW" FOR THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK).                                                                         
2. Locate the .crt file in downloads and open it.  This will open the Add Certificates dialog.                                                                                                                                                                                                   
3.  Select the default login Keychain and click Add.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
4. We suggest clearing cache first and then restarting your Chrome browser.  On some occasions, you will need to restart your computer fully before all changes take effect.
