1). Go into the Blackboard course you are trying to access materials for. On the main "Content" page there will be a tab that says "My Materials". Click on the text link.
2).The link will bring you to the "My Materials" page. On this page materials that were included in your tuition will have the caption: "Inclusive Access".
2b). Materials that were not included in your tuition will display with the button: "Purchase Options".
3). Once you click the "Purchase Options" button, you will be redirected to the Gwinnett Technical College online bookstore website. The link takes you to directly to options for purchasing your textbooks and materials.
4). After purchasing your textbooks/materials from the online bookstore dashboard they will email you an access code. To use this code we are going to return the "My Material" dashboard from Step 2. Once you have reopened the "My Materials" page, click the text button that says "Kortext".
5). After arriving on the "Kortext" homepage, login with your credentials, or signup with your student email if you don't already have an account. Books or materials that you have already redeemed on your account will display on the main menu of the dashboard. Kortext will show all of your materials besides Pearson and McGraw Hill. If you have a new code you want to redeem click "Books", then click "Redeem an access code".
6). After clicking the "Redeem Code" button it will bring up a dialog box for you to enter your material/book product code. Once entering the code and clicking redeem, you will be brought to a screen that saying You've successfully redeemed an access code. This is the final step in redeeming your materials. The material will displayed on the main "Library" homepage.
