Microsoft Office 365 is free for all Gwinnett Tech students!
Microsoft has changed the name of Microsoft Office to Microsoft 365. However this app service will still be free for all students with an active Gwinnett Tech account. You can follow the written instructions below.

1). Go to the Gwinnett Tech Dashboard and click the Dashboard Login button.
2). After logging into OKTA Dashboard with your Student Credentials, you will be brought to an home screen of your main apps.
Within the options under My Apps you will see Microsoft Office 365.
Click the Office 365 app icon.
3). After clicking the app icon you will end up on the Microsoft 365 homepage.
On the sidebar on your left-hand side you will see an Apps icon. Click the Apps icon.
4). After clicking the Apps icon, a drop down smaller menu will appear in the upper right corner. Click the Install Apps button.
5). After clicking Install Apps, another drop down menu will appear on top of it.
Click the Microsoft 365 apps option from this menu. This is the option that says "Install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more."
6). Following clicking Microsoft 365 Apps, you will be brought to the installation screen.
There will be an button that says Install Office - click the Install Office button.
7). After you have clicked the Install Office button, the OfficeSetup.exe file will download.
Shortly after the download completes, click the file from your browser, or double click from the downloads folder in your files app.
The installation of Office will begin and the dialog box will walk you through the final steps.
